Project description

Road surface badly deteriorated, surface levels are uneven and pavement sections are failing/showing distress under traffic loads. Kerb and gutter also in poor conditions and road requires reconstruction/rehabilitation. Length 930 m and width 8.75 m.

Road pavement re-construction, roadway re-surfacing, kerb and gutter and drainage works. Council Road Construction Program funding for the 25/26 financial year will be funding $535,000 of the project cost.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,285,000

The road has a damaged existing gravel driving surface with road base and sub-base deterioration facilitating minor drainage repairs.Initially accomplish minor drainage repairs as needed followed by required base and sub-base layer stabilisation where required. Gravel re-sheeting is completed to improve the road surface.

Bitumen re-sealing is completed to protect the road base and improve road surface.

The road has a damaged existing gravel driving surface with road base and sub-base deterioration facilitating minor drainage repairs.Initially accomplish minor drainage repairs as needed followed by required base and sub-base layer stabilisation where required. Gravel surfacing actions including stabilisation as needed to improve the road surface.

Culloden Road pavement has extensinve failure to approximately 60% of the area. Pavement length 740m and average width 9.20Rehabilitation of the road pavement by heavy patching, profiling and resurfacing the wearing surfacing.
