Project description

This project will address the issues on the northern section of Dalrymple Road from Industry Road junction, where the roadway suffers from insufficient width, weak pavement structure, surface deformation, and inadequate formalised drainage which are the safety risks to all road users.

Reconstruction and upgrade of approximately 1 km of Dalrymple Road, starting north of the Industry Road junction, including road widening, drainage improvements, sealing, line marking, and associated civil works. This project is co-funded between R2R and George Town Council under 2025/26 budget. The funding proportion is shown below: R2R Funding: $469,053 George Town Council: $30,947
