Project description

Road pavement shows significant areas of failure, including, cracking and potholing. Section of missing kerb and channel and areas holds water in some places. High maintenance costs associated with ongoing inspection and repair. Road safety associated with potholed pavement.

Road reconstruction, including removal and replacement of approx. 3000sqm of existing old and failed seal, 150mm pavement & subbase/subgrade replacement as required, Prepare and install approximately 150m of new kerb and channel with associated pavement extension works, remove and replace sections kerb where required. Reconnect house drain connections, extend existing stormwater drains and reset stormwater pits to match new kerb. Prepare and place initial 10mm stone seal and 40mm hotmix final seal. This will be a jointly funded project, with Council providing the balance of funds required upto $250,000 from its approval 2025-26 Capital Road Renewal Budget.
