Project description

Pavement works are required to address the deteriorating road surface, improve safety for all road users, and extend the service life of the asset. Completing these works will prevent further structural damage, reduce ongoing maintenance costs, and ensure the road continues to meet community and operational needs.

The proposed works involve renewal of the pavement and surface to restore the road to a safe and serviceable condition, ensuring durability, reduced maintenance, and improved user safety. 1. 3147 -5105 – Mill and fill sections 1.6m wide and full width of two sections 6m wide. • Full width from Centre of quarry entry to northwest end (approx. 6m wide x 300m length) • Quarry access within road reserve, 6m width x 90m length • 1.6m width x 123m length • 1.6m width x 22m length • 1.6m width x 23m length • Full width (6m) x 83m length • 1.6m width x 57m length • 1.6m width x 6m length • 1.6m width x 61m length • 2.5m width x 17m length • 1.6m width x 4m length 2. 1866 -3137 Full width section, 1271m in length and 6m wide. Works to include traffic management and line marking. TRC is funding the balance of the project cost.
