Project description

The existing 25 metre headwall for the floodway at May Rd is unable to handle the volume and speed of water that flows though the creek at May Rd and requires upgrading to handle the increased flows.

A 100mm thick concrete slab with SL82 mesh central will be laid to replace the current headwall, a 200mm wide cut off wall minimum 500mm deep around the perimeter of the new outlet structure. The existing rock protection will be re used at the base of the outlet structure. The additional funding of $6,061 is to be provided from Council cash reserves.

Total cost of proposed project is $46,061
