Project description

Lanskey Road is a low formation road in poor condition not suitable for urban standard. Some residents have illegally created through roads across the private parcel onto Ryan Road. Following complaint by the owner, Council has committed to reform and seal Lanskey Road within the road reserve to ensure residents can obtain a safe and functional road access to their residential allotment. The current condition is affected by flood and wet season unable to support services trucks. One of the residents has a haulage business which requires a 30m truck access from Ryan to their site.

Design and construction of essentially a new road. The design will incorporate electrical and lighting services utility upgrades and allocation of space for future sewer main. Tyne and condition subgrade, add corrector course of type 2.1 road base and pulverise, moisture condition, compact and roll finish. Follow by primer seal using 14mm aggregate covered with a second coat of 10mm aggregate, guideposts and line marking. New street name signages. New concrete driveway extending from cul-de-sac to the northern most private property. (MICC Work Order 832)
