Project description

Farm Lane is currently in a much less than satisfactory asset condition, signs of heavy rutting/depression which was observed as areas with corrugated cracks and changes in the level of road surface. Narrow sealed road width and drainage issues are causing maintenance problems and potential for failure and closure of road.

Urgent repairs and reconstruction of road which includes asphalt overlay and extensive patching. Full reconstruction in sections to address drainage issues.

Unsealed road which is eroding due to poor drainage and rutting out.Reconstruct existing unsealed road, incorporatig new roadbase material to add to existing suitable material. Place new bitumen seal consisting of one layer of 10mm stone and 2 layers of 7mm stone.

Blocked drainage and road impassable during wet season, rendering the residents unable to get in or out of the property.
