Project description

These grouped projects are all in Tallangatta and are each under $10,000 in value. 1. Mullawar Street, Tallangatta from the intersection of Mullawar Street and Matonga Street to the intersection of Mullawar Street and Jillico Avenue a total distance of 96 metres. 2. Nirimba Avenue, Tallangatta from the intersection of Nirimba Avenue and Jillico Avenue to the intersection of Nirimba Avenue and Matonga Street a total distance of 95 metres. 3. Wagara Road, Tallangatta from the intersection of Wagara Road and Towong Street to the intersection of Wagara Road and Karrika Street a total distance of 86 metres. 4. Wagara Road, Tallangatta from the intersection of Wagara Road and Karrika Street to the intersection of Wagara Road and the seal change located in Wagara Street at chainage 120m a total distance of 41 metres. 5. Wagara Street, Tallangatta from the seal change in Wagara Street located at chainage 120 to the CFA shed entrance located in Wagara Street at chainage 144m a total distance of 24 metres The condition of the existing seals in all the projects are poor and needs to be renewed. The road surface will be resealed.

Horseshoe Bend Lane (Rural Road) - 059382-15VIC-RTR

The road pavement is being final sealed or resealed as per Council maintenance protocols.The entire section of pavement will be spray sealed and appropriate sized stone applied. In some instances emulsions or micro seals may be applied.

Alsop Street Norseman - 059383-15WA-RTR

The seal is showing signs of cracking, potholing, ravelling and minor edge break. The aggregate has worn slightly and the binding condition is brittle.A single coat reseal.

Longwood-Ruffy Road (Rural Road) - 059384-15VIC-RTR

Austin Street Norseman - 059385-15WA-RTR

The seal is showing signs of minor edge break, the aggregate has worn smooth, has poor skid resistance and the binder condition is brittle.A single coat reseal to preserve the base course and prevent a complete rebuild.

Woodhouselee Road (Rural Road) - 059386-15NSW-RTR

Problems being addressed is the poor roadside drainage and rutting and shifting of the road surface which contributes to the poor wearing surface.Works proposed to be undertaken for this project is to rehabilitate 0.6 km of the road. This will involve drainage improvements and importing, spreading, shaping and compacting gravel and applying a bituminous seal to the newly rehabilitated road pavement.
