Project description

Gravel resheeting works (heavy and medium maintenance grading) were undertaken on Stock Route Road, commencing at the intersection of Mid Western Highway and concluding at the intersection of Mary Gilmore Way, covering approximately 18.5 km. This project was initially funded under the RERRF program for $330,000 using Council crew (labour and plant costs). However, due to recent weather conditions and significant rainfall, the scope of works has increased. Additional works, including the placement of extra gravel, have been required to restore the road to a safe condition for road users. This R2R funding is for gravel cost including transport to site.
