Project description

Jeffcott Street’s southern carriageway (Wellington Square to Montefiore Hill) is in fair to poor condition, requiring frequent maintenance. Full-depth asphalt reinstatement will preserve the subgrade, reduce future rehabilitation, and lower whole-of-life costs. This key corridor links the city with northern suburbs, neighbouring councils, and major destinations such as Adelaide Oval, the Convention Centre, and the Riverbank, supporting residents, workers, and businesses. ITS classifications highlight its importance: PT2 (public transport), C1 (cycling), GT4 (traffic), and W3 (walking).
