Project description

Major road repair on section of Pickertaramoor Road road just before Pirlangimpi Road Intersection approximately 100 metres which continues to wash away every wet season due to the water flow. Rectification works include 1. Water redirection with the shaping of new deeper drains, cutting in new swale drains. 2. Raising the road levels, excavation of soft subgrade, importing of approximately 200tons of 100 mm rock from Darwin and freight, including fines for compaction, gabion mattresses to place and fill, GEO Fabric and 3. Installation of culverts 1 of X 4lm x 4lm and concrete bridge. 3. Includes wet hire of 9 tonne loader, 14 tonne Excavator, Skid steer, Tipper Truck. Roller and Water Truck.

With the development and subdividing of properties the average vehicles per day has risen significantly.Mellows Road, CALDERWOOD, from intersection of Calderwood Road, chainage 1.2km to 1.7km prepare existing surface and apply spray seal. From Chainage 1.7km to chainage 3km introducing a 75mm of road base blend to the existing material, prepare surface for a spray seal and apply spray seal. a. This is to the end of Shellharbour Council Boundary

Captains Flat Road - 060090-15NSW-RTR

The pavement of this road is aged, rough and narrow. It is highly trafficked with a loading of in excess of 2,000 vehicles per day. It supports both rural residential and local industry traffic.The works proposed aim to reconstruct approximately 1.0 kilometre of pavement extending eastward from a point about 750 metres east from the intersection of Clydesdale Road. A final seal of about 9 metres is proposed and the works will include major drainage improvements, linemarking, signage and guideposts.Total cost of proposed project is $900,000
