Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Naring Road, Numurkah - 056424-15VIC-RTR
This section of road is classified as a link road in Council road management plan, it has a seal width of 4 metres which is unsuitable for heavy traffic. It also has large sections of pavement failure and drainage issues.Reconstruct 710 metres of pavement and seal to a width of 7.2 metres. Also reconstruct the roadside drainage.
Moran Street, North Bendigo - 056425-15VIC-RTR
Road pavement and kerb are failing due to age. Road is in poor condition.Reconstruction of road pavement including replacement of some kerb and footpath.Total cost of proposed project is $994,642
Raymond Road - 056426-15TAS-RTR
Several sections of pavement and seal failureReconstruct and seal the areas of pavement failure including embankment stabilisation. Length to be repaired 80m, width varies- average 3.0mTotal cost of proposed project is $70,000
Yamali Road (Rural Road) - 056427-15SA-RTR
Road pavement deteriorated beyond its useful life.Reconstruction of existing unsealed road to archive a minimum of 150mm compacted road surface. Works include the rehabilitation of existing material and the importing of additional material.
Power Line Road (Rural Road) - 056428-15SA-RTR

Thomas Road (Rural Road) - 056429-15SA-RTR

Perkins Street, Jamieson - 056430-15VIC-RTR
This road includes the busy main street in Jamieson. The section addressed in this project is the only unsealed section of this road. The road, at its southern end, provides access to a popular park fronting the Jamieson River. This park is frequently visited by tourists. Sealing this section will provide a higher level of service, reduce continual maintenance, and lessen the impact of dust on the adjacent residents.Widen the existing road formation, upgrade existing pavement, provide sealed road surface
Warrambat Road, Sawmill Settlement - 056431-15VIC-RTR
This road provides the main access to a residential subdivision in Sawmill Settlement. Due to the high traffic usage, the road experiences significant deterioration, particularly during the winter months. Upgrading and sealing the road will improve the level of service to the residents and reduce the impact of dust during the dry period.Widen the existing road formation, upgrade existing pavement, provide sealed road surface
Maintongoon Road, Bonnie Doon - 056432-15VIC-RTR
The current horizontal road alignment currently has line of sight deficiencies due to high cut batters. The windy alignment combined with tight curves (bends) presents a safety issues for vehicle towing boats and caravans, when facing oncoming traffic from the other direction. Additional lateral support is required on the fill batter to ensure that the road formation is stable and to prevent potential collapse.Benching of cut batters to improve line of sight, road widening and sealing, provide embankment support on the fill batters
Cummins Road, Howes Creek - 056433-15VIC-RTR
The road provides access to 93 residents, during the busy summer holiday period. The high traffic movements create significant dust, which causes a safety issue.
