Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Significant surface cracking due to road pavement base course failure. Existing wearing surface severely oxidised, potholing in patches. Road pavement require renewals of pavement base and wearing surface.Full width road rehabilitation over approximately 1120sqm. Road pavement works include 200mm thick cement stabilised base course and 40mm thick asphalt concrete (AC10) wearing surface
St George Crescent, Sandy Point - 055495-14NSW-RTR
Narrow travelling lanes and poor sight distance on bends,narrow shoulder and no provision for pedestrians. section of road is subject to flooding due its elevation.Road widening at bends is required to improve safety.It is proposed to raise and widen existing north bound carriageway(pavement area 870sqm). Road widening work include: raising subgrade level using road profiling material,120mm thick asphalt concrete basecourse and 50mm skid resistant wearing course.Total cost of proposed project is $90,000
Dann Road, Bannockburn (Township Road) - 055496-14VIC-RTR
Existing narrow gravel road carrying increased traffic volumes, requires additional pavement and width to improve capacity and safety. Deficiencies being addressed are road edge shoulder deterioration, drainage improvements and pavement failure.200mm granular re-sheet, widen and seal to 6.2m wide in accordance with Council's Road Strategy.Total cost of proposed project is $177,810
Rapleys Loop Road, Silverdale - 055499-14NSW-RTR
This section of road is unsealed and rough. This area was once sealed, but it was so long ago that it must be treated as unsealed. The maintenance costs to Council for this road section are excessive and it provides only a reduced amenity for nearby residents.To maintain the table drains, add new granular material and seal the road surface and culdesac.
Wood Road, Yarrawonga - 055500-14VIC-RTR
The existing intersection has been replaced with a roundabout and the wearing surface is in poor condition with area's of cracking allowing water to penetrate the road pavement.Overlay existing pavement with a asphalt overlay.
Lovegrove Avenue, Bunbury - 055502-14WA-RTR
Lovegrove Avenue is adjacent to a school. It is dangerous for residents in the avenue and for those approaching and attending the school and the configuration and alignment of the avenue creates confusion.Lovegrove Avenue road is to be realigned and parking reconfigured. Drainage is also to be addressed and the road surface is to be resealed and line marked.Total cost of proposed project is $303,143
Boree Creek Road, (rural road) - 055503-14NSW-RTR
The bitumen seal is less than 6 metres wide. B double trucks and semi-trailers are punched onto the gravel road shoulder when passing other traffic. The road shoulders have scoured and hold water which has soaked under the sealed carriage way. The outer section of the carriageway has deformed.Remove existing bitumen seal and stabilise the base course to a depth of 250 millimetres. Widen road formations to a minimum of 4.5 metres from the centre line. Bitumen seal road to a width of 7 metres. Replace guide posts and signs.
Hundred Line Road - Rural Road - 055504-14SA-RTR
Poor formation, Drainage and road surface, this asset is being renewed in accordance with Councils asset management plan.Reform and Resheet 3.3 km road segment with crushed limestone rubble, install road surface drainageTotal cost of proposed project is $86,813
