Kadnook Street Edenhope - 047633-12VIC-RTR
This is an urban road which is to be upgraded to a sealed road in line with the council plan of sealing urban roads. The road surface is rough and uneven with poor drainage. The section of road will be constructed for a total length of 400m. The existing surface will have pavement material added to give an overall pavement width of 6m. The surface will be prepared and sealed with bitumen for a width of 5m A final wearing sealed surface will be applied in December 2013 on the road for a length of 400m and a width of 5m to protect the road formation from water, provide drainage and create a non skid surface
Hope Street, Hay - 047657-12NSW-RTR
Uneven surface of road has prevented drainage of water during wet weatherConstruct kerb and gutter, connect to stormwater system and bitumen seal of road shoulder. 105 metres in length by 18 metres in widthTotal cost of proposed project is $32,642
Sidonia Road (Rural Road), - 047660-12NSW-RTR
Exposed clay sections and thin gravel surface of road has made the surface slippery during wet weatherGravel resheet from 33.00km to 53.00km east from the Cobb Highway. 20000 metres in length by 6 metres in widthTotal cost of proposed project is $124,637
Payne Street Exmouth - 047665-12WA-RTR
Due to redevelopment of the Exmouth CBD, the current alignment of Payne Street requires realignment to allow for parking, landscaping, and underground power. The road works focus is on improved traffic management, parking and increasing capacity for commercial growth and land use.Civil works to be undertaken include road base construction, bitumen surfacing, kerbing, drainage, footpaths, line marking and traffic signage.Total cost of proposed project is $505,000
Koorda-Billfinch Road (rural) - 047572-12WA-RTR
The reseal will address the issue of old bitumen breaking up on a five kilometre length of road with a seal width of 7.0 metres. The problem is especially bad in the centre section of road which has an original seal. Heavier grain trucks are causing most of the damage which will be stopped with a new seal across the entire width of the road. This has caused potholing. On the road edges there is only a single bitumen seal from road widening five years ago which needs a second seal to protect the road widening works and the first seal. The thin seal on the shoulders means the heavier trucks are breaking the seal on the road edges causing drop offs. Both the potholing and the side drop offs are a hazard for tourist traffic (caravans) and for school buses expecially when passing other vehicles. It is porposed to palce a covering seal for the five kilometres at a width of seven metres to cover the original four metre bitumen seal in the centre of the road and the one and half metre seal on the shoulders. This will alleviate the problems as addressed above and also greatly extend the life of the road. It is also porposed to place new white lines and "cats eyes" on the road to assist with road safety.Total cost of proposed project is $248,217
Unnamed Link Road - 047654-12QLD-RTR
This road is currently unformed. It is used frequently by the community to access residences and Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Council's Environmental Health Office, Carpenters Store and Workshop. The Proposed works will also alleviate storm-water drainage flooding by diverting sheet flow around the Council Store Shed Site. This construction will provide safe access to residential and industrial areas in Lockhart RiverConstruct 100 meters of sealed road; including earthworks, pavement, kerb and channel and footpath. It also includes drainage infrastructure ie. storm water pits/pipes etc.Total cost of proposed project is $235,000
Drain Road Kadina - 047667-12SA-RTR
Deteriorating pavement, insufficient lane width and this will be the last stage of the complete road works upgrade of Drain Road.complete reconstruction involving kerbing on one side, improved shoulder on opposite side and complete pavement reconstruction involving seal.Total cost of proposed project is $150,000
Urraween Distributor - 047668-12QLD-RTR
Urraween Distributor is a new road which will be a key trunk road linking Main Street to Bay Drive. The project will help alleviate the traffic congestion at Boat Harbour Drive and Central Avenue and will also facilitate the future development in the surrounding area. Park Road - 047670-12VIC-RTR
Insufficient lane widths for current traffic volume compared to current Road Design Standards, sight distance is insufficient due to substandard road crests, there are no bicycle facilities or footpaths, open drains present a hazard to traffic and perform poorly resulting in inundation of some adjacent properties, and night time visibility is poor due to insufficient street lighting.Pavement rehabilitation, pavement widening, underground stormwater drainage construction, kerb and channel, footpath and footpath imporvements to bicycle and pedestrian facilities.Total cost of proposed project is $1,800,000
