Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Homer Avenue - 048955-13TAS-RTR
Homer Avenue is a local urban road, serving adjacent residential properties. The road and associated infrastructure was constructed in the 1950's and is at the end of its useful service life. The road pavement is in need of reconstruction and local reshaping. New road surfacing is required and kerb & channel and fottpaths need to be replaced.Excavation and replacement of the road pavement and new road surfacing. Replace footpaths and kerb & channel. Reconstruct driveways where affected by the works.Total cost of proposed project is $782,000
Frome Street - 048956-13TAS-RTR
Frome Street is a local urban street, serving adjacent residential properties. The road and associated infrastructure was constructed in the 1950's and is at the end of its useful service life. The road pavement is in need of reconstruction. New road surfacing is required and sections of kerb & channel and footpath need replacement.Excavation and replacement of road pavement and new sealed surfacing. replace sections of kerb & channel and footpath.Total cost of proposed project is $734,000
Booborowie Road (Rural Road hundred of Hanson) - 048957-13SA-RTR
Booborowie Road is a major commodity route running north/south in a heavy cropped agricultural area. The road requires upgrading to a more suitable geometric standard, drainage problems resolved and the requirement to accommodate increased heavy vehicle movements during harvest periods.Completion of intersection redesign Leighton Road/Booborowie Road and drainage infrastructure along the 8km route. The road will be re designed and constructed to satisfactory horizontal and vertical alignment to a sub base level. Work is nearing completion (July 2013)of the first 6km (Leighton Road North) with this further 8km completing the entire length of this road from the Spalding-Burra Road to Gum Creek Road
Amalfi Street, Lurnea - 048958-13NSW-RTR
Failed sections of pavement, poor drainage, potholes, patches and major cracking.Patch, mill and resheet with 40mm residential mix, reconstruct damaged sections and kerb and gutter and reinstate pavement marking.
Castlereagh Street, Liverpool - 048959-13NSW-RTR
Failed sections of pavement, poor drainage, potholes, damaged kerb and gutter and major cracking.Patching, pavement reconstruct pavement with 180mm deep strength asphalt concrete and reconstruction of damaged sections of kerb and gutter.
Glengarry Road, Winkleigh - 048960-13TAS-RTR
The existing road is of variable width (4.5 to 5 metres wide including shoulders) and is considered narrow for the volume of traffic. The road is poorly drained and is a dust nuisance. The road carries a significant volume of truck traffic (gravel and logs) which is approximately 20%.To reconstruct and seal 2 sections, 425 metres at the northern end near Winkleigh Road, and 1080 metres at the southern end near Frankford Road. The work proposed will widen the pavement to 7 metres including shoulders, seal gravel pavement to 6 metres wide and improve drainage.
Bevic Road, Clarence Point - 048961-13TAS-RTR
Narrow gravel pavement which is a dust nuisance, and is poorly drained. The road is used frequently by locals and tourists.Widen pavement to 6.5 metres, rehabilitate existing gravel surface, and seal 5.5 metre width
Browns-Scarsdale Road - 048964-13VIC-RTR
This road was reconstructed, widened and sealed in 2012-13 and requires the final seal to complete the works.Final seal 923m long x 7m wide of previous constructed works, to complete the construction and preserve the asset.
Tall Tree Road - 048965-13VIC-RTR
Narrow sealed road carrying increased traffic volumes requires additional pavement strength and width to improve capacity and safety. Deficiencies being addressed are road edge shoulder deterioration, pot holes and pavement failure.200mm thick granular resheet, widen and seal to 6.2m wide in accordance with Council's Road Strategy.
