Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Banksia Terrace, South Yunderup - 049210-13WA-RTR
The wearing surface has deterioated badly, it is cracked and the edges are broken. The road is potholed and has various low spots where water ponds, therefore requiring minor reconstruction and possible regrading to improve drivability and drainage.Reconstruct, regrade and asphalt overlay the full length. The works will involve reprofiling of pavement surface, widening the edges and installing kerbing and drainage structures as required.Total cost of proposed project is $144,731
Marcus Avenue - 049211-13WA-RTR
Road showing signs of localised failure and asphalt oxidation at various sections. Road surface is old and rough and needs resurfacing.Repair localised failures and apply resurfacing layer. Repair localised kerbing and side entry pits if necessary. Install median islands with landscaping to improve safety.Total cost of proposed project is $480,000
Fishermans Road, Coolup - 049212-13WA-RTR
The current road seal is 3.7 metres in width with significant pavement and edge failures, an ongoing reconstruction program is being undertaken to improve the road standard and upgrade the access from the Coolup area toward the west to Old Bunbury Road which links in with the Forrest Highway.Apply second coat seal to previously constructed sections for a length of 2.3 kilometres. Reconstruct, widen and install associated drainage for the last 500 metres to a minimum road width of 6.0 metres. These works will be ongoing until Fishermans Road is completed between the Coolup area and Old Bunbury Road.
Herron Point Road, Birchmont - 049213-13WA-RTR
This gravel section of road is used in summer for crabbing and camping and frequently requires regrading and topping up of gravel. Rehabilitating this section of road will reduce maintenance, prolong the life of the pavement and greatly improve drivability.This 1.1 kilometre section will be rehabilitated with an emulsion base bind product mixed with gravel to a width of 7.0 metres and the existing road swales regraded where required.
