Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

METRONET: Denny Avenue Level Crossing Removal
The project involved the closure of the Denny Avenue level crossing, and the construction of a new rail-over-road underpass at Davis Road. The grade separation at Davis Road will improve access in and around the Kelmscott town centre and provide safer and quicker access between Albany Highway and Railway Avenue.
Stewart Street, Broome - 052505-14WA-RTR
This road is an existing unkerbed sealed residential street in the older part of town. The road pavement is failing , has severe deformation and large areas of seal loss mainly due to the poor quality and inadequate strength of the original construction materials.The project will utilise new pavement materials to reconstruct the pavement, provide 3 coat bitumen seal to 7.4m wide, new kerbing and upgraded drainage.
Regional Roads Package - South Australia
This package of works provided overtaking lanes on the Augusta, Eyre and Lincoln Highways, shoulder sealing on the Sturt Highway, the widening of the Rocky River Bridge on the Augusta Highway and the upgrade of traffic signals at the Riddoch Highway (Penola Road)/Wireless Road intersection in Mount Gambier.
METRONET: Business Case Development
The project will provide funding towards the development of business cases for METRONET Stage 1 projects.
Mt Lindesay Road - Legume to Woodenbong
The project will deliver realignment, widening and renewal along a 42-kilometre stretch of Mount Lindesay Road, between Legume and Woodenbong, to increase safety and facilitate use by heavy vehicles.
Good Hope Road (Rural Road) - 097427-18NSW-RTR
This road has been identified as requiring re-sealing as part of Yass Valley Council's Annual Resealing Program. This is a Rural Road in our LGA that is in need of maintenance as it is becoming unsafe and unsuitable for drivers to utilise.Resealing
Wargeila Road (Rural Road) - 097428-18NSW-RTR
This road has been identified as requiring re-sealing as part of Yass Valley Council's Annual Resealing Program. This is a Rural Road in our LGA that is in need of maintenance as it is becoming unsafe and unsuitable for drivers to utilise.Resealing
Marked Tree Road (Rural Road) - 097430-18NSW-RTR
This road has been identified as requiring re-sealing as part of Yass Valley Council's Annual Resealing Program. This is a Rural Road in our LGA that is in need of maintenance as it is becoming unsafe and unsuitable for drivers to utilise.Resealing
Bogalara Road, Old Toongabbie NSW 2146 - 097435-18NSW-RTR
The existing road surface is affected by numerous cracks and pavement failures. It has been repaired by heavy patching multiple times in the past, which has made the existing road surface very rough to drive on. The surface is old and prone to further pavement failures.The proposed works include reconstruction of failed pavement areas with asphalt and full road resurfacing with asphalt. Length = 440 m; Width = 11.8 m; Area = 5192 m2.Total cost of proposed project is $423,226
Caroline Chisholm Drive, Winston Hills NSW 2153 - 097434-18NSW-RTR
The road section has been affected by various types of cracks which enables water to enter the road pavement and cause pavement failures. The existing road surface is old, brittle and prone to cracking.The proposed works include strengthening of trafficable areas by replacement of substandard material with asphalt and resurfacing of the road with asphalt. Length = 224 m; Width = 12 m; Area = 2688 m2.Total cost of proposed project is $220,854
