Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

Honeysuckle Drive, Townsville - 106507-19QLD-RTR
Old asphalt surface with Minor to moderate cracking throughout, along with some minor unevenness. There is also a couple of old patches and some potholing. Kerbs display some minor defects but overall are still quite operational. The remainder of this busy street has had remedial treatment and this section would be the missing link. By undertaking this overlay now it will finalise remediation on the entire street and therefore well extend the life of the whole asset.Undertake full width asphalt Mill and Replace from Annandale Drive for 150m. For next 150m, mill all edges adjacent to kerbs and interface to existing seals at intersections etc. then install full width overlay. On completion reinstate all pavement markers.
Brighton Street, Townsville - 106506-19QLD-RTR
Busy residential street with significant moderate cracking throughout. There are also some areas displaying severe cracking. Some minor deformation and unevenness in areas, however this should be rectified through the milling process. There are some existing patches throughout, predominantly adjacent to the kerbs. These are also showing signs of deterioration. All kerbs appear to have been replaced in recent years and are in reasonably good condition and still quite operational.Complete digouts (35m2) to repair failed pavement areas, then undertake full width mill and replace. Some corrector course has been allowed for due to some unevenness in the existing surface. On completion ensure reinstatement of all linemarking.
Hodd Road, Harris River - 106508-19WA-RTR
Existing sealed road is in poor condition and requires to reconstruction and reseal.Reconstruct and seal.
Pavement Strengthening and Widening (ROSI Newman to Katherine Corridor)
Upgrades to roads on the Northern Territory section of the Newman to Katherine road corridor involving strengthening, widening and resurfacing works on the Victoria Highway. This project includes bituminous resurfacing on various sections between chainages 42 and 59km and pavement strengthening and widening and bituminous resurfacing between chainages 82 and 87km.
Pavement Strengthening and Widening (ROSI Alice Springs to Darwin Corridor)
Upgrades to roads on the Alice Springs to Darwin road corridor involving strengthening and widening, and resurfacing works. Early works cover various sections of the Stuart Highway, Berrimah Road and Tiger Brennan Drive.
Pavement Strengthening and Widening (ROSI Tennant Creek to Townsville Corridor - Northern Territory)
Upgrades to roads on the Northern Territory section of the Tennant Creek to Townsville road corridor involving strengthening and widening, and resurfacing works. Early works cover sections of the Barkly Highway between chainages 117.0-121.5km and 146.3-152.8km.
Floraville Road - culvert replacement
This project will replace two failed culverts on Florvaille Road near Burketown in Burke Shire.
Wadeye Airport Road - 106510-19NT-RTR
Water damaged, corrugated and gravel road from Airport Car park, also need drainage system to avoid future rain damage. Dust problem to near by houses.Upgrade to bitumen seal, install 30m long x 9m wide concrete floodway over small wash out, re- work existing grave pavement to depth of 150mm as new subgrade layer, construct 150 mm gravel pavement. Lnstall kerb and channel on both sides of road.
Dexter Road, Gordonvale - 106509-19QLD-RTR
Narrow bridge crossing only allows for single traffic lane, narrow approaches and bridge is deteriorating, low flood immunity, low strength and inadequate load bearing capacity.Replace single lane, single span timber bridge with 2 lane, single span concrete bridge and widening of bridge road approaches to two lanes.Total cost of proposed project is $1,702,219
Jundah-Winton Road (rural road) - 106682-19QLD-RTR
Replacement of gravel pavement to maintain an all-weather driving surfacePlace and compact 150mm of gravel material for the length identifiedTotal cost of proposed project is $435,000
