Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

Charlotte Street, Cooktown - 109371-20QLD-RTR
Annual rainfall and increased traffic has resulted in potholes and road deformationReconstruction of Charlotte St road formation from chainage 992m to 2175m. This includes: Rehabilitation and upgrade of Charlotte St, from the roundabout to Hope St including a 3 m Shared path. Intersection treatments for Howard St / Charlotte St, Walker St / Charlotte St, Furneaux St / Charlotte St, Green St / Charlotte St and Adelaide Street/Charlotte Street (budget permitting). Kerb extensions as a Local Area Traffic Management to assist with traffic movements Landscape opportunity.Total cost of proposed project is $1,238,166
Oodnadatta Track (rural road) - 108893-20SA-RTR
The targeted section of road is low lying and requires forming to get above natural surface level. The existing road material turns to bulldust in the summer and becomes slippery after rain events.The work involve reforming and resheeting the existing road to achieve a 3-4% crossfall to improve drainage.
Mickles Road (rural road) - 109187-20NSW-RTR
Gravel wearing surface is at intervention level to resheet, wearing course has been worn down to traffic and heavy vehiclesResheet wearing course to provide an all weather access for local traffic and heavy vehicles
Jerrawa Road (Rural Road) - 109373-20NSW-RTR
The condition of pavement is very poor with a formation of corrugation, rutting, edge drop and loss of crown including the longitudinal and transverse cracking of the sealing surface.It is proposed to rectify the problems of road pavement by overlaying the gravel over the existing pavement and spraying the bitumen pray sealing and constructing the table drains. This process will increase the pavement thickness and widen the road by shoulder widening and rectify the edge drops.
Kialla Road, Crookwell - 109374-20NSW-RTR
The pavement condition of road is very poor and sealed surface consists of severe cracks with edge drops and rutting.The proposed work consists of overlaying the gravels to increase the pavement thickness and placing of new bitumen sealing works to rectify the rutting and crackings by providing the extra road width. It also rectifies the edge drop by adding gravels in shoulder re-sheeting.
Gurrundah Road (Rural Road) - 109375-20NSW-RTR
The pavement condition of the road is very poor and sealing surface has longitudinal and transverse cracks with edge drops, rutting and roughness.The proposed work is to rectify the problems of rutting, roughness, edge drops and cracks. This also increase the pavement thickness by adding extra layer of gravels followed by the bitumen spray sealing works.
Midland Road, Hazelmere - 109370-20WA-RTR
Midland Road is experiencing significant traffic growth due to continuing development and urbanization in Hazelmere. The increasing traffic (both light and heavy vehicles) requires the road to be upgraded from the current rural standard to an urban standard in order to meet current and future demand.Upgrade Midland Road to current urban standard. This includes widening of the road, as well as ancillary works to support the upgraded road (i.e. drainage, kerbing, footpaths and street light relocation).Total cost of proposed project is $3,500,000
