Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Tarnma Road, Hamilton - 108793-20SA-RTR
Tarnma Road is classified as a category 1 within Council's road hierarchy and provides an unsealed link to both residential and farming properties North of Marrabel Road. Over recent years other segments of Tarnma Road have been upgraded to cope with the increased traffic utiilising this road and now the segment from Victoria to Ellis Road requires similar improvements. This segment of road has limited material on the surface making it extrely difficult to grade to a suitable standard.Road will be re-sheeted and constructed using a suitable quarry material that will provide a higher level of rideability and improve the overall safety for the road user.
Neldner Road, Freeling - 108794-20SA-RTR
Neldner Road is classified as a category 3 within Council's road hierarchy and provides an unsealed link to several residential houses but more importantly, a link to farming paddocks during the harvest. Council staff have identified increased deterioration to this segment of road due to the lack of material on the surface. This causes issues for large machinery and heavy vehicles trying to ingress and egress from the surrounding properties.Road will be re-sheeted and constructed using a suitable quarry material that will provide a higher level of rideability and improve the overall safety for the road user.
Moondon Road (Rural Road) - 109412-20WA-RTR
The road paving is worn and needs gravel resheeting to maintain the roads required service level in all weather.Over the entire nominated section carry out reconstruction and gravel re-sheet with 150mm of gravel.Total cost of proposed project is $140,800
Station Street, Wasleys, Station Street - 108796-20SA-RTR
Station Street is a North South road connector through the heart of Wasley's that has observed an increase in traffic due to a new housing development to the South of Wasley's township. The condition of the road has deteriorated over the years mainly due to root systems of the trees that previously line the street. School children and local residents frequently use this road as a pedestrian thoroughfare. The current condition of the surface is undulated and frequent repairs are required by Councils maintenance teams.The road will be asphalted from kerb to kerb providing a smoother, safer road for the road user.Total cost of proposed project is $251,152
Moppa Springs Road, Greenock - 108790-20SA-RTR
Moppa Springs Road is classifed as a category 2 within Council's road hierarchy and provides an unsealed link to residential and farming houses to the North of the town of Greenock. In recent times, the road condition has deteriated and is slippery when wet and dusty in the drier months. This causes motorists to continually change their driving patterns to adapt to the conditions.Road will be re-sheeted and constructed using a suitable quarry material that will provide a more consistent road surface for the driver.
Marma Box Creek (Rural Road) - 109440-20NSW-RTR
Road surface is extremely dusty and bogy due to loose material. The road level is below natural surface in a low lying area with poor drainage. Road becomes impassable in wet conditions.To form and build the road up to natural surface with natural material. Then gravel construction 8m wide for a length of 8.0km. This will include grading along the sides of the road to form table drains for drainage flow.
Freshwater Road (Rural Road) - 109442-20NSW-RTR
Formation of road has deteriorated due to traffic. The road contains deep wheel ruts, deep scouring along the side of the road and certain places crossing the road.The whole road to be graded and reshaped with natural material. This will include grading along the sides of the road to form table drains for drainage flow.
Burke Wills Road (Rural Road) - 109438-20NSW-RTR
Existing Single Grids are deteriorating due to age and an increase of heavy vehicles. Grids are beginning to show signs of wear and tear, and are starting to cause safety problems. The Formation of the road has also deteriorated for the same reason.To remove three old single grids and replace with new double grids. New grids will be placed on compacted gravel and the approaches will be sealed to a length of 70m. To form, reshape and build the road up to natural surface with natural material. This will include grading along the sides of the road to form table drains for drainage flow.Total cost of proposed project is $132,734
Canna North East Road (rural road) - 109405-20WA-RTR
Road surface is corrugated and potholed. Vegetation on the verges is obscuring vision.Clear verges to a width of 12 metres. Construct road formation to a width of 10 metres. Resurface with gravel 150 mm deep.
Neates Road (rural road) - 109407-20WA-RTR
Road surface is corrugated and pot holed. Roadside vegetation is obscuring vision.Clearing formation of bitumen edge and reseal; Clear shrub off edge of road; Reseal existing bitumen 10 mm; Put in new gravel and compact.
