Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Lloyd Street Extension, Hazelmere
There is currently limited freight access to the industrial areas of Hazelmere and Midlands. This has resulted in increased congestion on the roads surrounding these precincts and nearby residential areas. The project will extend Lloyd Street to directly link Midland and the St John of God Hospital with the industrial areas of Hazelmere, Forrestfield, Kewdale and Perth Airport, which will also connect with the recently announced Abernethy Road / Great Eastern Highway Bypass Interchange.
Centenary Motorway Upgrade
The Business Case is expected to look at options to upgrade the Centenary Motorway in south-east Brisbane including options to improve the current design, and enhance safety, amenity and connectivity along the route.The Centenary Motorway plays a critical role within the broader south east Queensland transport network by connecting the outer western, inner and northern suburbs of Brisbane and beyond to the trade coast region.
Reilly Street and Wantirna Road Intersection Upgrade
The project upgraded the Reilly Street and Wantirna Road intersection in Ringwood.
County Boundary Road, Milbrulong - 052705-14NSW-RTR
pavement failure and widening for heavy traffic. Road is main access point to local grain receival point.rip and overlay existing pavement, mix and compact with new seal.
Lindum Rail Crossing Study
The Lindum Rail Crossing investigated options to address transport safety, efficiency and accessibility issues within the Lindum Station precinct, including: the Lindum level crossing commuter and pedestrian access active transport options park and ride facilities and station upgrades in Wynnum West
Tiwi Islands Road Upgrades
The project will upgrade and seal sections of the access roads on the Tiwi Islands, including the Paru Road.
Ballarto Road, Skye
The project is upgraded key intersections along Ballarto Road in Skye, in Melbourne's south east.
M1 Pacific Motorway Upgrade Program - Daisy Hill to Logan Motorway
The project will upgrade approximately six kilometres of the M1 Pacific Motorway corridor between Daisy Hill and the Logan Motorway, and will include an increase to existing lanes, road strengthening and new motorway safety features. Construction funding has been reserved pending additional planning works.
Brisbane North - West Transport Corridor
This project produced a business case that examines the feasibility of a transport solution along the North West Transport Corridor, connecting Brisbane with the Moreton Bay region.
Isis Overtaking Lanes
This project provided a southbound overtaking lane on the Isis Highway, 13 kilometres south of Bundaberg between Park Estate Road and the Wyder Park Scout Camp turn-off.
