Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Mullaquana Road, Mullaquana - 121137-22SA-RTR
Cracking evident at wheel path location. Stone loss on surface. Rutting and deformation at Berkshire Road intersection.Treat surface with 10/5 mm SS. Apply pavement and surface patching to intersection and areas where wheel path rutting is evident.
Darragh Street, Whyalla Playford - 121135-22SA-RTR
Block cracking evident across surface. Width of cracking will cause further damage to underlying pavement without intervention.Plane and reinstate with FineAC10 C170 40mm. Undertake localised pavement remediation as required after surface removal.
Ward Street, Samson - 120988-22WA-RTR
Asset Management process identified asphalt wearing course has come to the end of its useful life and has started to break up resulting in cracking and potholes. Drainage gullies in poor condition requiring upgrade to new pits.84m L x 6m W = 648m2. Existing asphalt wearing course will be over layed with a 30mm thick, AC10 metal at 50blow dense graded asphalt. Existing drainage gullies upgraded to new combination side entry pits.Total cost of proposed project is $16,000
Letchford Street, Samson - 120989-22WA-RTR
Asset Management process identified asphalt wearing course has come to the end of its useful life and has started to break up resulting in cracking and potholes. Minor sections of kerb line damaged with drainage structures requiring cycle safe replacement grates and adjustments.375m L x 8m W = 2,948m2. Existing asphalt wearing course will be over layed with a 30mm thick, AC10 metal at 50blow dense graded asphalt. Kerbing will be replaced over short sections, new cycle safe wave grates installed onto existing drainage structures and adjusted for height during construction.Total cost of proposed project is $89,104
Marchant Road, Samson - 120990-22WA-RTR
Asset Management process identified asphalt wearing course has come to the end of its useful life and has started to break up resulting in cracking and potholes.195m L x 6m W = 1,317m2. Existing asphalt wearing course will be over layed with a 30mm thick, AC10 metal at 50blow dense graded asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $21,012

Existing asphalt wearing course will be milled off and replaced with a 30mm thick, AC10 metal at 50blow dense graded asphalt. Kerbing will be replaced over the length of the project and new rubber speed cushions installed upon completion of construction.Total cost of proposed project is $45,807
Amherst Street, White Gum Valley - 120973-22WA-RTR
Asset Management process identified asphalt wearing course has come to the end of its useful life and has started to break up resulting in cracking and potholes. Minor sections of basecourse reconstruction due to potholes and material failure.112m L x 6m W = 862m2. Existing asphalt wearing course will be milled off and replaced with a 30mm thick, AC10 metal at 50blow dense graded asphalt. Basecourse failures to be boxed out and reconstructed prior to final asphalt overlay.Total cost of proposed project is $21,548
