Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The current seal has deteriorated and contains a large number of potholes and patching repairs.The proposed works are to profile off the existing surface and replace with an asphalt surface. Kerbs both sides are damaged and requires replacing.
Jakelwar-Goodooga Road, (rural road) - 120783-22QLD-RTR
Jakelwar-Goodooga Road has been heavily trafficked after recent rain events creating large wheel tracks, which further exacerbates the current state of road. The low areas have poor drainage and does not allow the run-off of water. The road is mostly a formed earth road and is being ‘destroyed’ following recent rain events and creating an unsafe condition for road users. The intent is to build-up road in natural drainage problem area to allow improved all vehicle access and provide a grade to ensure the road is restored to a serviceable level. The low areas are the cause of road closure during wet weather as poor drainage does not allow the run-off of water. Some areas of work to include mixing clay with natural material, add oversized rock, add pipe, top layer of gravel. Diversion drains are also to be added.Build-up road with gravel through low lying areas and grading.
Waddington Crescent - Springvale South - 120982-22VIC-RTR
The existing surfacing is in poor condition. Longitudinal cracks, potholes, patches.Kerb and channel renewal works, 2m edge plane, 60mm depth 20SI patching where required, 10mm fibredec and overlain by 35mm depth 10H wearing course.
Old Junee Road (Rural Road) - 121157-22NSW-RTR
This section of road has extensive failures such as shoving and rutting at various locations due to back to back flooding and heavy trafficThe project includes traffic control, 50mm base overlay, lime stabilisation of pavement to a depth of 250mm, applying 14/7 sprayed bituminous seal and linemarking (heavy patching)Total cost of proposed project is $240,555
Byrnes Road (Rural Road) - 121158-22NSW-RTR
This section of road has extensive failures such as shoving and rutting at various locations due to back to back flood and heavy trafficThe project includes traffic control, 50mm base overlay, lime stabilisation of pavement to a depth of 250mm, applying 14/7 sprayed bituminous seal and linemarking (heavy patching)Total cost of proposed project is $283,556
Kelly Road, Girrawheen - 120932-22WA-RTR

Wingadee Road (Rural) - 119950-22NSW-RTR
Unsealed Road. Correcting poor shape, improving drainage and safety.Resheet and reshape sections of the road between 0.250 and 8.00km.
Stevens Street, Pennant Hills - 121134-22NSW-RTR
Roads are not wide enough for two lanes in each direction. Due to high volumes they accommodate every day, especially during peak hours, vehicles have been observed to form two lanes in some areas that can lead to dangerous situation. Residents in Stevens Street have raised concerns in relation to vehicles speeding and reported multiple crashes.Medians, Refuges & Splitter Islands Construction
