Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Cutting Road (rural road) - 063913-16WA-RTR
The existing road surface has very little gravel and quickly becomes rough after grading.Form the existing surface to the required crossfalls then import, spread and compact gravel to 100 milimetres thick at the design croassfalls. Form table and cut off drains as required.
Rawson Street, Kingscote - 063914-16SA-RTR
Currently there are no kerbs or gutters along sections of Rawson street which is causing drainage problems and water is penetrating the road pavement causing accelerated deterioration of the pavement.New kerbs to be installed on the southern and northern sides of Rawson Street that is currently not kerbed.
Walpole Street East, Walpole - 063915-16WA-RTR
The existing road seal is failing and there is no room for people to walk without walking on the road.Form a concrete footpath adjacent the road edge and reseal the road with asphalt.
Inglis Street, Boyup Brook - 063916-16WA-RTR
The eastern kerb on Inglis street is only 50mm high and the street drainage pipes cannot carry the volume of water that collects in this location, causing flooding.Replace and enlarge the in street drainage and then install new 150mm high barrier kerb and re-install the footpath.Total cost of proposed project is $73,678

Pavement failures and narrow section of roadWidening and pavement rehabilitation of high traffic rural road with failing pavement
Centenary Avenue, Kingscote - 063918-16SA-RTR
currently there are no kerbs and gutters at this end of Centenary Avenue which is one of the steepest roads in Kingscote. stormwater runoff is scouring the sides of the road causing issues for driveway access and water is penetrating the pavement causing accelerated deterioration to the road pavement.install new kerbs and gutters on both sides of Centenary Avenue between Seaview Road and Rawson Streets.
Wormbete Station Road - 063919-16VIC-RTR
Loss of shape and materialPavement rehabilitation works to improve safety for rural roadTotal cost of proposed project is $110,200
Franklin Street, Kingscote - 063920-16SA-RTR
Currently no kerbs and gutters on the southern side of Franklin Street which is causing stormwater run off to scour the unsealed shoulders making driveway access difficult in some places and water is penetrating the road pavement causing accelerated deteriorationnew kerbs to be installed on the southern side of Franklin Street as recommended in Council's Asset Management Plan
Hesse Street, Winchelsea - 063921-16VIC-RTR
Not currently wide enough for turning movements of trucksImprove kerb alignment and parking near shopping precinctTotal cost of proposed project is $65,284
Killili Road (rural) - 063922-16WA-RTR
Currently there is a low level crossing in the Gascoyne River that becomes impassable for up to 5 months of the year. This creates a situation where the town is divided and vehicles are unable to access the Northern side of the district.To construct two bridges across the Gascoyne River.Total cost of proposed project is $10,945,218
