Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Hilliers Road (Rural Road) - 064807-16NSW-RTR
Secondary Through road formed from natural sandy loam material with pockets of imported gravel. In wet conditions the road is very slippery with deep ruts across the pavement and must be driven with care. In dry weather the pavement tends to form deep potholes with severe rutting and pavement blow-outs. Approaches to a concrete causeway are washing away and need to be reformed.Reshape road and gravel sheet – Win and cart gravel – Repair any section of pavement that has blow-outs, Repair approaches to concrete causeway, Spread gravel at 6m wide X 130mm thick, compact to 100mm. Re-establish table and mitre drains, install erosion control measures where necessary.

Cracked, potholed and deterioration of road surfaceMill existing wearing course and replace with new asphalt resheet
Wrigley Street. (Gilgandra) – Stage Two (2) - 064811-16NSW-RTR
Primary Town Street that was originally formed up with sandy black soil, with the existing seal being in excess of 30 years old. Longitudinal and lateral cracking has let moisture penetrate the base layer and the street is prone to excessive potholing and deformation. The kerb and gutter on both sides need replacing as well as the storm water inlets (lintels).Remove existing kerb and gutter and storm water inlets; remove from site top 300mm of existing road base material. Reinstate kerb and gutter and storm water inlets (328m). Import certified sub base material, stabilize, form up and compact to a depth of 200mm then import Design Graded Base (DGB) material , form up and compact to a depth of 100mm, trim and shape to conform with new kerb and gutter, then bitumen seal using 10mm aggregate.
Everton Road (Rural Road) - 064813-16NSW-RTR
Single lane concrete causeway has developed lateral cracks above two (2) concrete pipes, the causeway also tends to wash out either end of the concrete slab when the creek rises.Council intends to lengthen existing concrete causeway by 15 metres on both approaches to get it above top water level (TWL) at full flow. These extensions will incorporate cut-off walls to a depth of 1 metre on both sides of the extensions. A new slab will be poured over the existing slab to a depth 200mm and tied in to existing slab using starter bars. Both approaches will be reconstructed to suit new levels.
Agnes Street, Kingston SE - 064814-16SA-RTR
Lighting doesn't meet Australian Standards for traffic and pedestrians.Replace existing lights and install lights to meet standards, all new lights will be LED.Total cost of proposed project is $38,581
Gellies Road, Sunbury - 064815-16VIC-RTR
A local rural road with a very narrow pavement (4m) with no shoulders, default speed limit of 100kmh.Widening this section of road to two traffic lanes, one in each direction and construct and seal 1.5m shoulder on both sides
Holland Street, KINGSTON SE - 064816-16SA-RTR
Lighting doesn't meet Australian Standards for traffic and pedestrians.Replace existing lights and install extra lights to meet standards, and all new lights will be LED.Total cost of proposed project is $40,605
Bourke Street, Bulla - 064817-16VIC-RTR
Existing pavement is in poor condition, no kerb and channel, inadequate drainageRoad pavement rehabilitation and construction of 275 metres of Burke Street, Bulla between Coghill Street and unmade Sharp Street. Including turning area at the end of road, kerb and channel, drainage and vehicle crossings.Total cost of proposed project is $279,054
East Terrace, Kingston SE - 064818-16SA-RTR
Lighting doesn't meet Australian Standards for traffic and pedestrians.Replace existing lights and install extra lights to meet standards, and all new lights will be LED.Total cost of proposed project is $48,714
Wildwood Road North, Bulla - 064819-16VIC-RTR
A local rural road with a very narrow pavement (4m) with no shoulders, default speed limit of 100kmh.Widening of road to two traffic lanes, one in each direction and construct and seal 1.5m shoulder on both sides.
