Mt Wellington Road (Rural Road) - 053602-14VIC-RTR
Aging road infrastructure including two culverts have failed due to age or have been damaged by heavy vehicles including road maintenance plant.Replace damaged and failing culverts with more durable box culverts.
Duncan Road (Rural Road) - 133741-25WA-RTR
This section of Duncan Road is unsealed and quickly becomes badly corrugated especially with heavy vehicle traffic. Additionally, this road is susceptible to significant damage from the annual wet season and the Shire spends considerable funds repairing the unsealed surface at the end of each wet season.Upgrade the existing unsealed carriageway to a two lane sealed carriageway including drainage upgrades which will improve the resilience of the road carriageway and provide increased strength for heavy vehicle traffic and against annual wet season rains. The project will be partly funded by Road Project Grant funding administered by Main Roads WA.Total cost of proposed project is $675,000
Parkin Road, Livingstone - 133818-25NT-RTR
Gravel re-sheeting to stabilise the dirt road, reducing erosion, dust and maintenance, while improving safety drainage.Gravel re-sheeting involves ripping, re-compacting and re-instating drains to stabilise and improve the road surface.
Tyree Place, Braemar - 133820-25NSW-RTR
This section contains severe pavement defects that include crocodile cracks, rutting, ravelling, linear cracks, and surface deformations. The road surface has significantly deteriorated and is close to failing.Pavement rehabilitation through mill and fill at a 300 mm depth and chemical stabilisation with 3% of 70/30 lime/slag additive and resurface with 50 mm asphalt layer AC14. Reinsate the existing line marking.
