Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Oxford Street, Mittagong - 133809-25NSW-RTR
The road is in poor condition due to surface deformation, rutting and potholes.Apply 14/7 resealing before correcting the road surfaces through preparatory works such as patching.
Hawkey Road (Rural Road) - 132195-25WA-RTR
The existing road surface has cracked and is starting to pothole due to it reaching the end of its useful life.Resheeting is required to ensure that the road surface can continue to be driven on safely. The remaining funding will be provided by the Shire of Esperance.Total cost of proposed project is $264,000
Riverside Road, East Fremantle - 133592-25WA-RTR
Structural cracking, rutting and patching is in need of replacement, which is likely caused by the failure of the base course.Road reconstruction, including removing approximately 200 mm of base course, replacement with bitumen stabilised base material, kerb replacement, and final wearing course replacement 40 mm of dense grade asphalt. Balance of project funding from Main Roads WA.Total cost of proposed project is $360,000
Cubbine Road (Rural Road) - 133719-25WA-RTR
Existing seal is deteriorated. Extend asset life.Apply new seal coat over existing road surface.
Springvale Lansdowne Road (Rural Road) - 133812-25WA-RTR
The unsealed road formation is losing shape and gravel sheeting is worn and thinning in various locations. Roadside drainage lacks sufficient capacity for the road environment.Reform and re-sheet the unsealed road formation, renew and upgrade the existing roadside drainage including offshoot drains, table drains and unsealed floodways. The project will be partly funded by Road Project Grant funding administered by Main Roads WA.Total cost of proposed project is $750,000
Munglinup Beach Road (Rural Road) - 132194-25WA-RTR
The existing road is in poor condition and is not performing its current function as a heavy haulage route.An upgrade to a sealed road is required to improve road safety and ensure that the road can continue to perform its function. The remaining funding will be provided by the Shire of Esperance.Total cost of proposed project is $600,000
Dalyup Road (Rural Road) - 132196-25WA-RTR
The existing gravel road surface is heavily corrugated, developing potholes, and losing gravel material, indicating it is nearing the end of its serviceable lifeResheeting is required to ensure that the road surface can continue to be driven on safely. The remaining funding will be provided by the Shire of Esperance.Total cost of proposed project is $224,000
Malcolm Road, (Rural Road) - 133821-25WA-RTR
The road is a school bus route and the surface is corrugated and potholed, vegetation on verges obscuring vision. Improving surface ride ability and drainage will provide a safe road for road user.Improve sightlines, complete vegetation management, reform the subgrade and gravel re-sheet to a thickness of 100 mm with imported material to give a running width of 8 m and a overall width of 10 m.
Krummel Road, (Rural Road) - 133822-25WA-RTR
The collapsed box culvert is compromising the structural integrity of the road, posing a significant safety risk to road users.Remove and replace the existing box culverts with new precast units, including the construction of new headwalls to restore full functionality and improve long-term durability.
The Centre Way (Rural Road) - 053601-14VIC-RTR
Aging road infrastructure including one culvert that has failed due to age or have been damaged by heavy vehicles including road maintenance plant. Also installing one new culvert to take pressure of existing drainage infrastructure.Replace damaged and failing culverts with more durable box culverts and install one new culvert.
