Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Dullah Road, (Rural Road) - 134042-25NSW-RTR
Pavement was last resealed over 17 years ago and is displaying deterioration with extensive cracking and minor shoving required a reseal to prevent further damage and reinstate an impermeable surface. Minor bitumen maintenance such as pothole and edge break repair prior to applying bitumen reseal.

Yarck Village Place - 134126-25VIC-RTR
The sealed pavement has developed defects such as potholes, cracking, rutting, or surface breakup and sealed wearing course has reached its end of useful life. These defects are causing safety risks (vehicle damage, water ingress).Provide a new high polymer SAM seal to renew the sealed wearing course and continue to protect the road pavement including; Removal and disposal of 100mm existing pavement material required to allow for expansion of pavement due to stabilisation. The sub-base material in-situ stabilised to a depth of 200mm with 5% cement and 3% lime (300mm from previous surface level) and compacted to 98% modified compaction. A new 100mm layer of Class 2 20mm Crushed Rock placed and compacted to 98% modified compaction. Reinstate road surface asphalt/spray seal
Cathedral Lane, Taggerty - 134128-25VIC-RTR
Gravel wearing course has reached its end of useful life and needs renewal in addition drains need renewal.Undertake to renew the road formation, drainage and supply and place new 100mm wearing course.
Gready Road, Wal Wal - 133951-25VIC-RTR
The gravel road travelling surface has worn away. Road to be resheeted with gravel to restore driveability.
Angus Smith Drive Upgrade
The project will upgrade the existing intersection on Angus Smith Drive to improve access and traffic flow to and from James Cook University and the Townville University Hospital. The project may include the installation of traffic lights or a roundabout to improve traffic and reduce traffic congestion.
Tumbarumba Road - Regional Road - 053947-14NSW-RTR
The pavement has failed causing a driving hazard through potholes and depressions & cracks.Rehabilitation of the road surface by removing existing failed pavement and replacing with new pavement and resealTotal cost of proposed project is $922,696
Monash Court Palmerston - Suburb of Durack - 053948-14NT-RTR
The existing road surface of Monash Court is failing and has lots of cracks and potholes.The existing surface will be overlaid by 25mm thick asphalt. This will extend the life of the road pavement. Change in costs due to tender rates.
Eulo Glen Road (Rural Road) - 053950-14NSW-RTR
Existing poor quality gravel pavement is allowing water infiltration and deformation of pavement shape.Reform a 2 km total length of existing pavement and resheet with a 100mm depth of good quality crushed rock.
Dandaloo Road (Rural Road) - 053952-14NSW-RTR
