Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Field Road (Rural Road) - 065215-16SA-RTR
Road pavement deteriorated beyond its useful life.Reconstruction of existing unsealed road to achieve a minimum of 150 millimetres of compacted road surface. Works include the rehabilitation of existing material and the importing of additional material.

Yuengroon Road, rural Road, Charlton VIC 3525. - 065221-16VIC-RTR
Badly cracked and deformed road pavement.Reconstructing 1.56km length, 6.0m width road surface.
Leader Street, Forestville SA - 065222-16SA-RTR
Road asset has significant defects in respect to pot holing, cracking and the road seal is showing a high degree of course texture as well as requiring significant repair work to kerb and water table and tree surrounds to protect pavement base from failureThe proposed works will include replacement of kerb and line marking, road reconstruction and reseal.Total cost of proposed project is $1,200,000
Black Range Road, Yass - 065223-16NSW-RTR
This road has been identified as requiring Heavy Patching due to structural issues of crocodile cracking being present and causing road failure, this is then followed by re-sealing as part of Yass Valley Council's Annual Resealing Program. This is a Rural Road in our LGA that is in need of maintenance as it is becoming unsafe and unsuitable for drivers to utilise.Complete excavation and Heavy Patching, followed by Resealing the identified areas to improve the road surface for all road users, reduce the amount of maintenance Council is required to undertake and to assist in improving our rural roads for all residents.
Cope Street, CASINO NSW 2470 - 065224-16NSW-RTR
Poor roadside drainage due to insufficient grades in kerb and gutter, failed pavement due to substandard pavement shape and thickness and ageing bitumen surfaceReconstruct kerb and gutter with improved grades and drainage pit locations, addition of roadbase and cement and provision of a new bitumen seal
Old Boundary Road (Rural Road) - 065225-16SA-RTR
Road is being maintained, as a major high traffic road. Evidence of pot holes occurring if it is not resealed, with the road loosing it’s skid resistance, causing major safety concerns. Forms part of Councils asset renewal program.Reseal 1.5km at 6.2m wide.Total cost of proposed project is $27,282
Porter Road, Goolwa - 065226-16SA-RTR
Road surface is deteriorating and at the end of it's life.Road will be resurfaced with a single coat spray seal.
College Cresent, Parkville - 065227-16VIC-RTR
The existing asphalt road surface is oxidised with both substantial longitudinal and transverse cracking and loss of cross-sectional shape with undulating surface at the approach to intersections.Proposed to cold plane profile the existing road surface to a depth of 50 millimetres for a length of 310 metres and a width of 16.5 metres and reinstate over the whole area with both 10 mm type H hot mix asphalt wearing course in traffic lanes and 10mm type V hot mix asphalt at approaches to intersections all to a depth of 50 mm
