Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Wellington Parade South Jolimont - 065229-16VIC-RTR
The existing asphalt road surface is oxidised with a fatigued appearance and has numerous service utility trench reinstatements and substantial longitudinal and transverse cracking impacting on rideablity performanceProposed to cold plane profile the existing road surface to a depth of 50 millimetres for a length of 365 metres and a width of 16 metres and resheet over the whole area with both 10 mm type H hot mix asphalt wearing course in traffic lanes and 10mm type V hot mix asphalt at approaches to intersections all to a depth of 50 mm
Golf Links Road (Rural Road) - 065234-16NSW-RTR
The road is narrow for the current and future traffic volumes and has failed over a number of sections.The proposed work will widen 670 metres of Golf Links Road to 7.7 metres wide and overlay the widened road with 150 mm of gravel base. The widened road will be sealed to 7.2 metres wide.
Ralston Road Tammin (Rural Road) - 065236-16WA-RTR
There is a defect in the pavement from Straight line kilometre 4.52 to Straight line kilometre 4.66 full width of the road (9 meters), the road bitumen surface is in need of bitumen resealing from Straight line kilometre 4.50 (start) to Straight line kilometre 6.40 (end).Dig out defected area, Straight line kilometre 4.52 to Straight line kilometre 4.66 full width of 9 meters, import new gravel stabilise with cement, compact to line and level, Reseal the whole area being from Straight line kilometre 4.50 (start) to Straight line kilometre 6.40 (end) by 8 meters in width with C170 bitumen and 14/7mm aggregate.
Cooks Hill Road, Yass - 065237-16NSW-RTR
This road has been identified as requiring Heavy Patching due to structural issues of crocodile cracking being present and causing road failure, this is then followed by re-sealing as part of Yass Valley Council's Annual Resealing Program. This is a Rural Road in our LGA that is in need of maintenance as it is becoming unsafe and unsuitable for drivers to utilise.Complete excavation and Heavy Patching, followed by Resealing the identified areas to improve the road surface for all road users, reduce the amount of maintenance Council is required to undertake and to assist in improving our rural roads for all residents.
Hadlow Drive, Gundaroo - 065239-16NSW-RTR
This road has been identified as requiring re-sealing as part of Yass Valley Council's Annual Resealing Program. This is a Rural Road in our LGA that is in need of maintenance as it is becoming unsafe and unsuitable for drivers to utilise.Reseal the identified areas to improve the road surfaces for all road users, reduce the amount of maintenance Council is required to undertake and to assist in improving our rural roads for all residents.
Wooli Road (Rural Road) - 065242-16NSW-RTR
The road is narrow for current and future traffic volumes and has failed over a number of sections.The proposed works will widen 1km of Wooli Road to 8 metres wide and overlay the widened road with an average of 150 mm of gravel base. The widened road will be sealed to 7.2 metres wideTotal cost of proposed project is $570,249
Mt Harris Road (rural road) - 065243-16NSW-RTR
Road safety is a major concern. The existing pavement is narrow and in poor condition. This section of Mt Harris Road is a bus route and contains small volume of heavy vehicles.Works will include an additional pavement overlay and a 2 coat bitumen seal to a width of 6 metres.
