Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Florina Road (Katherine Rural) - 058270-15NT-RTR
Floodway washes out each year restricting access and impacting the adjacent businesses.Construct invert at floodway at chainage 33.89 kilometre.
Port Roper Road (Katherine - Rural) - 058271-15NT-RTR
Floodway washed out each year restricting access to the properties and community and water ponds on the road causing unsafe passage for the vehicles.Install concrete invert on floodway at chainage 15.1 kilometre.
Kinjurra Road (Tennanct Creek - Rural) - 058272-15NT-RTR
Single lane seal with shoulders less than 1 metre in width, rough with over 50mm drop off, the roughness of the shoulders makes unsafe passing conditions where one vehicle has to stop on the shoulder to allow other to pass. There have been 3 accidents involving 6 fatalities in the last 4 years due to the narrow road. The road also experience bogged condition in wet and is restricted to load limits on heavy vehicles. The improvements in drainage will reduce the road closure and/or heavy vehicle weight reduction.Upgrade Kinjarra access shoulders from 1 metre to 2.5 metre and drainage improvements by upgrading existing culvert.

O'Neill Road (Rural Road) - 058274-15WA-RTR
To improve safety of exit and approach to O'Neill Road. Partially funded by Blackspot Road Project. Work will address the road safety issue of rear end crashes where approach and pull off into left hand intersection on O'Neill road from Albany Highway.Create sealed slip lanes for approach and exit O'Neill Road - Albany Highway. Site visibility will be improved with creation of a deceleration lane.Total cost of proposed project is $191,937
Crofts Lane, Wembley WA 6014 - 058275-15WA-RTR
Existing lane is bare sand and is difficult to drive on with normal vehicle.Construction of sealed, kerbed and drained lane for access to properties. Width 5m. Length 330m.
Brunswick Street - 058277-15VIC-RTR
This road carries high volumes of vehicle and bicycle traffic, the road surface is in poor condition with severe cracking in some sections caused by heavy vehicles and large traffic volumes. Bicycle path is uneven and poor condition due to service authority reinstatements. It is the second stage of Brunswick Street rehabilitation.Re surfacing of the road pavement, rehabilitation of sections of the road base, line marking to delineate tram clear zone and designated bicycle route.2wTotal cost of proposed project is $400,000
