Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Gold Coast Springbrook Road, Mudgeeraba - 058278-15QLD-RTR
The road currently has a defective pathway crossing Hardys Road, Mudgeeraba that is prone to flooding in severe weather causing Gold Coast Springbrook Road, Mudgeeraba to have authority traffic control to ensure the safe crossing of children to Mudgeeraba Creek State School.Construction of a new bicycle/pedestrian shared user bridge to allow the safe travel across Hardys Road, Mudgeeraba to Mudgeeraba Creek State School in all weather conditions.Total cost of proposed project is $1,642,673
Canning Street - 058279-15VIC-RTR
This road is a major bicycle route and carries significant local vehicle traffic. The road surface is in poor condition due to the age of the road surface and service authority intervention.Re-surfacing of the road pavement, rehabilitation of sections of road base, line marking to delineate designated bicycle route.Total cost of proposed project is $300,000
Northcliffe Terrace, Surfers Paradise - 058280-15QLD-RTR
The section of road does not have adequate infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists resulting in safety concerns for such users of this section of road.Construction of on-road cycle lanes, shared footpaths and pedestrain crossings south of Laycock Street to Enderley Avenue, Surfers Paradise. The section of corridor forms part of the coastal cycle and pedestrian route.Total cost of proposed project is $685,000
Karen Avenue, Picnic Point - 058281-15NSW-RTR
Road surface deterioration by oxidation or minor ravelling but structurally soundAsphalt thin overlay and bitumen rejuvenation (spray seal) to address functional problems and achieve the best value for money outcome in accordance with Pavement Management System (PMS) full asset life cycle modelling. Cost based on 1600m2 at $10.21/m2.
Drysdale Avenue, Picnic Point - 058283-15NSW-RTR
Road surface deterioration by oxidation or minor ravelling but structurally soundAsphalt thin overlay and bitumen rejuvenation (spray seal) to address functional problems and achieve the best value for money outcome in accordance with Pavement Management System (PMS) full asset life cycle modelling. Total cost based on 1700m2 at $10.21/m2.
Susan Street Scone - 058284-15NSW-RTR
Kerb and guttering are in a poor state and not working efficiently. Pavement along kerb failing due to kerb and guttering issues.Kerb and gutter to be replaced and pavement along kerb excavated and replaced. Length of kerb & gutter to be replaced 245 metres x 2 metres wide, total area 490m2.
Mount Erin Road, Merriwa - 058285-15NSW-RTR
Road pavement has deteriorated to a point where it no longer functions. Road is also a school bus route.Road pavement to be re-sheeted with local gravel. Length of road to be upgraded 4.00km x 6 metres wide. Total seal area 24,000m2.
Harcourt Avenue, East Hills - 058286-15NSW-RTR
Road surface deterioration by oxidation or minor ravelling but structurally soundAsphalt thin overlay and bitumen rejuvenation (spray seal) to address functional problems and achieve the best value for money outcome in accordance with Pavement Management System (PMS) full asset life cycle modelling. Total cost based on 4000m2 at $10.21/m2
Glenbawn Road, Scone - 058287-15NSW-RTR
Road surface is badly damaged with numerous pot holes. Road is of insufficient width for a tourist route to Glenbawn Dam and State Park.Road is to be widened to a suitable width. Surface and pavement to be reconstructed. Length of road to be upgraded 1.0km x 8 metres wide, total seal area 8000m2.
Blair Avenue, East Hills - 058288-15NSW-RTR
Road surface deterioration by oxidation or minor ravelling but structurally soundAsphalt thin overlay and bitumen rejuvenation (spray seal) to address functional problems and achieve the best value for money outcome in accordance with Pavement Management System (PMS) full asset life cycle modelling. Total cost based on 2900m2 at $10.21/m2
