Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Tauragat Well Road (Rural Road) - 065748-16SA-RTR
Tauragat Well Road has poor alignment with the pavement showing signs of failure and the road widths are not suitable for B-Double transport vehicles. The road services numerous dairies, catle famrs, grazing land and provides a significant trsansport route for the cartage of agriculture products and fuel supplies to farming industries.The work proposed includes remediating the failed sections of pavement and widening the seal to 7 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $2,646,000
Murtho Road (Rural Road) - 065752-16SA-RTR
Murtho Road's current seal is failing and contains severe cracking, is extremely rough, loose material is forming and is subject to dust. The road is a designated B-Souble Route and provides for access for a large horticultural area that is rapidly expanding.The 4.2 kilometre section of road will be resealed and include shoulder maintenance, improved sight distance and signage and line marking.Total cost of proposed project is $120,000

Camballin-Myroodah Road (Rural Road) - 065760-16WA-RTR

Pigeon Flat Road (Rural Road) - 065776-16SA-RTR
The pavement along this route has insufficient strength and width and is rapidly failing causing unsafe travel conditions for heavy vehicles along a significant regional freight route.The work proposed for stage 1 includes reconstructing and upgrading a 1.4 kilometre section of Pigeon Flat Road including improvement in dimensions which do not currently meet standards and improving the driving surface.Total cost of proposed project is $664,000
Bool Lagoon Road (Rural Road) - 065777-16SA-RTR
The current pavement is failingwith large areas of cracking and pot holes. The seal is narrow and unsafe for freight and tourist traffic.Works will include the realingment and reconstruction of the existing 5.8 metre wide sealed pavement to 9 metres wide with a 7 metre bitumen seal. The stormwater drainage infrastructure will also be replaced.Total cost of proposed project is $830,000
