Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Barry Way (Rural) - 068435-16NSW-RTR
Pavement Failures and Reaseals of previous Heavy Patching.Heavy patch a total area of 6800m2 at variouse location on the Barry Way a total of 38 Patches. Patches to be insitustabalised with 60/40 slag/lime 200mm Depth, C240 10mm Primer seal to be placed on all patches. Reasealing of heavy patches carried out 2014/2015 Finacial year at variouse location Barry way.
Frogmore Road (rural Road) - 068436-16NSW-RTR
The existing road is narrow with deformed pavement due to inadequate pavement strength and poor roadside drainageThe road will be widened and the pavement will be reconstructed by stabilizing the subgrade and incorporating a new 150mm thick gravel pavement. In addition, road side drains will be excavated to improve drainage and protect the new pavement from ingress of water.

Reseal the wearing surface to provide a safe riding surface and reduce the need for more expensive rehabilitation by waterproofing the pavement.Reseal approximately 5.320km of the wearing surface.
Thorne Road (east) (Rural) - 068441-16NSW-RTR
This unsealed length of formed road is included in Griffith City Council’s Heavy Vehicle Bypass Strategy and is a crucial link in the development of an alternative bypass for heavy vehicle traffic to the south of Griffith. Stage 2a (Thorne Road (east) will be constructed to a suitable standard to accommodate heavy vehicle traffic which will link Stage 1 and Stage 2b of Griffith City Council's Heavy Vehicle Bypass to the south of the CBD, between Old Willbriggie Road and MR321 Kidman Way (Hanwood Road).Construct Thorne Road (east)for a length of 1.112km to an 8.8m wide pavement with a sealed width of 7.0m. The construction will involve some vegetation removal and trimming, adjustment of utilities and services including irrigation and drainage structures, electricity, streetlighting and water supply. Minor realignment will be required.
High Street, CASINO NSW 2470 - 068442-16NSW-RTR
Failed road surface from an old and thin existing pavement that is saturated due to poor drainage and high traffic volumes due to a child care centre in the streetInstall sub surface drainage on the high side of the road for the full length of the project. Improve surface drainage between driveways to existing stormwater pits. Full dig out and replacement of significantly failed section of pavement in front of Child care centre. Overlay existing pavement with road base and cement binder for additional strength and provide a bitumen seal.
Nalangil Road, Corunnan - 068443-16VIC-RTR
Narrow pavement, narrow formation, narrow seal width, weak pavement, poor drainageReconstruction involving drainage improvements, widening of formation, and widening and thickening of pavement in order to provide one sealed lane in each direction.
