Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Tyrconnell Road - 058082-15QLD-RTR

The existing 4.0m wide bitumen seal is too narrow for the number of commercial and passenger vehicles now using this section of Chewko Road. Two vehicles are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road, verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users.The proposed works include the widening of the existing 4.0m wide bitumen road to 6.5m to allow the safe passing of commercial and passenger vehicles.

Kay Road (rural road) - 058083-15QLD-RTR

The existing 4.0m wide bitumen seal is too narrow for the number of commercial vehicles now using this section of Kay Road. Two vehicles are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users.The proposed works include the widening of the existing 4.0m wide bitumen road to 6.5m to allow the safe passing of commercial and passenger vehicles.

Koah Road - 058084-15QLD-RTR

The existing 3.5m wide bitumen seal is too narrow for the number of vehicles now using this section of Koah Road. Two vehicles are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users.The proposed works include the widening of the existing 3.5m wide bitumen road to 6.5m to allow the safe passing of two vehicles without the need to utilise the gravel verge.

Springmount Road - 058085-15QLD-RTR

The timber girders which support the 24.0m long timber running deck are in poor condition due to their age, water damage and some infestation from white ants.Proposed works include the removal of the existing timber deck and timber girders and replace with concrete interlocking girders and undertake some minor roadway approach works.Total cost of proposed project is $590,537

Cater Road - 058088-15QLD-RTR

Cater Road is a gravel road adjacent to a local school which is used by buses and parents picking up and dropping students. This is causing a dust problem in the dry season and boggy conditions in the wet.The proposal is to seal Cater Road and construct a sealed bus pull over bay adjacent to the school to provide students with safe and easy access to the buses.Total cost of proposed project is $318,517

4 km section of this road is badly damaged, sub grade material showing due to high heavy traffic flow. need to improve conditions of surface, gravel re-sheeting is necessary.Reform table drains, reform carriageway and re-gravel a 4 km section of the road which is showing signs of vehicular traffic breaking through the pavement to the sand sub base.

Kellerberrin-Bencubbin Road (Rural Road) - 058111-15WA-RTR

Road failures within the 2.38km sections.Reconstruct road failures within the 2.3km sections. Profile and cement stabilise failures and 2 coat seal patched areas.

Hewitt Road (Rural Road) - 058112-15WA-RTR

Re gravel due to blow sections of the road within this section. showing signs of vehicular traffic breaking through the pavement to the sub base material.Reform table drains, reform carriageway and re-gravel a 2km section of the road.
