Project description

Sandy Creek Road has two major quarries and frequent heavy vehicles. Sections of Sandy Creek Road are narrow and do not cater for heavy vehicles. Subsequently, these sections of road experience gravel shoulder wear and the road pavement is in poor condition.

Proposed works include shoulder widening, cement stabilisation of existing pavement layer overlaid with an additional pavement layer and bitumen sealed to 7.5m. Associated works include vegetation clearing, table drain works as required, replacement & extension of existing culverts.
