Project description

Safety issue in relation to traffic and issues. Additionally the pavement is approximately 30 years old and is showing signs of stress. This includes stripping and deep pavement cracking where water ingress is undermining the pavement structure.

A new roundabout will be installed. This will include kerb widening, drainage modification and pavement reconstruction. the works will significantly improve both the safety and pavement integrity at this intersection.

Total cost of proposed project is $750,000

The heritage listed stormwater pipeline that runs along Dobie Street has a number of failures that potentially may lead to the collapse of the pipeline. The failures are also allowing root penetration into the pipeline causing blockages.The pipeline will be cleared and lined with a synthetic liner to stabilise the pipeline.Total cost of proposed project is $173,139

Selected section of Bobin Road is to be reconstructed with 100mm asphalt concrete.
