Project description

Severe surface rutting and potholing as a result of an unsealed surface being subject to adverse weather and predominant use by heavy traffic and poor weather conditions. Roadside drainage in this area is inadequate which exacerbates potholing and rutting.

A 1,000m section of Glen Alice Road adjoining the exiting seal will be remediated and sealed. This area will be ripped, graded with new roadbase material, compacted and sealed with an 8m wide 14/7 two-coat seal. Table drains will be reformed and additional stormwater culverts and pipes will be installed to rectify drainage issues.
