Project description

The pavement exhibits severe cracking and surface irregularities. The existing asphalt wearing surface has reached the end of its serviceable life and requires rehabilitation to prevent further, more expensive degradation to the pavement. As a bus route through Manning the ride qualities of the pavement are of paramount importance.

The removal and replacement of concrete kerbing, profile to a minimum depth of 20mm to remove irregularities, supply and lay a SAMI seal or asphalt interlayer to the exposed base material and overlay full width with 30mm compacted thickness of "Stone Mastic Asphalt".
