Project description

The project has upgraded the Hyland Highway between Traralgon and Yarram in south-east Victoria. Works included widening lanes and shoulders, installing safety barriers and slow vehicle pull-over areas, and intersection upgrades.

Benefits

The project has improved safety and efficiency for all road users and supported the economic growth in the region.

Funding

The total cost of the project was $10 million. The Australian and Victorian governments each contributed $5 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced on 2 January 2018 and was completed in November 2022.
