Project description

The existing pavement has various defects including rutting and crocodile cracking, typically encountered along the pavement edge and along the wheel paths. Defects can be attributed to the quality of the base material and inadequate pavement thickness.

Milling of existing surface to -50mm FSL, in-situ stabilisation to a depth of 350mm with 1.5% 70/30 slag/lime application. Emulsion based priming of the pavement and then 50mm of AC14-AR450.
