Project description

During large storm events, high flows could result in loss of seal, road embankment and downstream batters constructed either side of Culvert 117 as a result of flows overtopping the embankment.

Construction of a 350mm x 800mm deep reinforced concrete cut of wall on the downstream hinge point of the embankment above Culvert 117 with associated dumped rock embankment protection. Ch 4203 – Ch 4283 (80m), as detailed on plan 7994-051 rev D LRCI is funding the balance of this project.
