Project description

Hemple Road is a rural connector in the Greenock area, providing access to agricultural properties and acting as an unsealed tourism link between the locality of Daveyston and the renowned Seppeltsfield Road precinct. The road currently presents with a high amount of corrugations during prolonged dry periods and is now deemed to be at the end of its useful life. Regular patching and maintenance have become increasingly ineffective and unsustainable. Road will be re-sheeted and constructed using a suitable quarry material that will provide a higher level of rideability and decreases maintenance intervals.
