Problems being addressed are stormwater pooling issues and failing surface/pavement. The stormwater issues are located in front of business premises and the existing surface/pavement surface is undulating and rough to drive on at township speeds.Propose kerb and water table installation to fix stormwater pooling issues and resurface existing pavement with a hotmix correction course to fix the undulating rough surface.Total cost of proposed project is $234,000
Poor horizontal and vertical alignment and unsealed.Realign both vertically and horizontally and bitumen seal.Total cost of proposed project is $400,000

The existing concrete causeway is around 25 metres long and 5 metres wide and is severely cracked and there is a hole 3 metres by 3 metres in one section of the causeway. The hole and the cracking make the causeway hazardous to travel across during rainfall.Proposed works include removal of cracked sections of concrete and replacement with reinforced concrete.
Poor surface texture creating slippery conditions when wet.Resealing at various locations.
The surface of Bugaldie Goorianawa Road in the proposed work location is bitumen sealed and is badly deformed, which presents a traffic hazard for vehicles on the road. The proposed work involves overlaying the pavement with 150mm compacted road base material and bitumen sealing the surface of the road. Total length of the proposed work is 0.9km.
Mitchell Springs Road is an unsealed road and at the work location, erosion of a creek bank has undermined the road surface. As a result only one half of the carriageway width is open to traffic.Repair works involve filling the eroded section of the creek bank with large sized rocks. The works also involve replacement of undermined road with compacted road base.
