Primary Through road formed from natural sandy red clay material with remnants of previous gravel sheeting. In wet conditions the road becomes very slippery and in dry periods the road is prone to deep rutting and pot holes and lateral corrugations.Reshape road and gravel sheet – Win and cart gravel – Spread gravel at 6m wide X 130mm thick, compact to 100mm. Re-establish table and mitre drains.

Primary through road formed from natural black soil to sandy loam. Sections of the road have been gravel sheeted over a period of 20 years this has since been blown off and washed away. Isolated pavement failures from chainage 0.8km to 8.2km which are requiring a high level of maintenance.Works include stabilisation of the failed pavement sections including placement of additional conforming materials. Bituminous resealing 10mm .
