190m long section of road in a sealed causeway with existing 8 x 1200 RCP culverts on a main waterway channel at chainage 2.40. Causeway sealed width is 2 traffic lane 7.0m, existing culvert is single traffic lane 5.5m width. Narrowing of pavement across culvert in this causeway creates a hazard to the travelling public, particularly during flood events when pavement is overtopped and obscured by flood waters.Extend existing 8 x 1200 RCP's including new concrete headwalls and apron to facilitate pavement widening overtop. Construct unbound pavement widening with bitumen seal to provide consistent 7.0m sealed carriageway width through full length of causeway.
Gilmour Street Thargomindah - 062101-15QLD-RTR

Macquarie Heads Road (rural gravel road) - 062104-15TAS-RTR
Council staff have identified safety issues and high maintenance costs due to the increase in vehicle movements especially in the summer months on Macquarie Heads Road. The length of the road is ten(10)kilometres. Works are entire road from intersection Harvey Street and Petunia Road. This is the end of asphalt section. Macquarie Heads Road starts from this intersection as the commencement of the gravel road. Start 0km to 10kms. The other roads as shown on the maps are unmade bush tracks. The entire road requires re-sheeting with gravel as there is no gravel left for grading purposes. This has created safety issues for vehicles to drive safely because of the corrugations and especially on corners.Grading works to remove corrugations and road crown shaping to re-sheet with gravel which includes stormwater improvements and new signage and guide posts.
