Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Ross Street, Newport - 128984-24NSW-RTR
Ageing road pavement is distressed with cracks, potholes and patches due to increased traffic condition.Repair the pavement and resurface with asphaltic concrete.
Wakool Street, Barham - 128419-24NSW-RTR
Wakool Street into Chester Street is the primary movement however with no traffic calming, signage or line marking and with a narrow pavement around bend/intersection, a number of close encounters have occurred. An unsealed section of Wakool Street enters the intersection on a skewed angle, affecting sight lines, while also bringing loose material into the intersection.Install traffic calming, line marking and signage to control traffic movements and speed. Widen intersection and approaches. Formalise, reconstruct and seal Wakool Street from the east at the intersection with Chester Street.
Speewa Road (Rural Road) - 128420-24NSW-RTR
Road is too narrow for heavy vehicles resulting in close vehicular conflicts.It is proposed to widen and seal to 8.0 m width and flatten road batters.
North Barham Road (Rural Road) - 128421-24NSW-RTR
Road is too narrow to cater for heavy vehicles and pavement failures resulting in poor wearing surface.Improve road super-elevation around bend including improved signage and line marking at intersections. It is proposed to widen and seal the road to 8.0 m width.
Danien Street, Glen Waverley - 129002-24VIC-RTR
This section of road is in poor condition according to road assessment parameters and is scheduled for renewal/rehabilitation. In addition, kerb and channel and traffic control devices will be renewed to resolve drainage issues and scraping of vehicles at various sections.The proposed scope of works include asphalt resurfacing and pavement patching together with reconstruction of kerb and channel and traffic control devices. As the project is partially funded by R2R, the remaining balance will be paid by the council.Total cost of proposed project is $565,246
Jayes Road (Rural Road) - 128995-24WA-RTR
Road shoulders, edge of seal, and road surface are wearing.Re-condition shoulders and drains, widen existing seal and renew existing road surface.
Koorda-Bullfinch Rd (Rural Road) - 128968-24WA-RTR
Shoulder widening to improve safety due to road being a heavy haulage route for significant mining activities.Widening of gravel shoulders.Total cost of proposed project is $304,091
Collins Road (Rural Road) - 128398-24WA-RTR
The road is a school bus route and it's surface is corrugated and potholed with vegetation on verges obscuring vision. Widening and improving surface rideability and drainage will provide a suitable and safe linkage for road users.Complete vegetation management in selected areas to improve sightlines, reform the subgrade and gravel re-sheet to a thickness of 100 mm with imported material to give a running width of 8 metres and an overall width of 10 metres.
Link Road, Cloncurry - 128866-24QLD-RTR
The current pavement on the Link Road is failing and requires rehabilitation to ensure the surface is safe for the heavy vehicles and general public travelling across this road.Rehabilitation of current pavement across the entire length of Link Road is proposed. Rehabilitation works will predominately include stabilisation between chainage 0 to 1.6 km followed by a reseal along the whole length between chainage 0 to chainage 6.5 km.
Tareela Lane, Burren Junction - 129003-24NSW-RTR
Road is impassable during wet weather and the area has prolonged wet areas that hinder access for residents and road users.3 km section of road within the floodplain was elevated by 600 mm and 8 x 450 mm steel pipes installed to improve water flow and maintain road accessibility during moderate flood levels.
