Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The Snowy River Way (Rural Road) - 111282-20NSW-RTR
The road is narrow, pavement layer is failing, Culvert have reached the end of service life and need replacement, intersection do not meet current standardsChainages 0 to 1.8 Km widen and realign formation to 10m wide, place 150mm base material, replace 5 set of culverts and improve stormwater flow, bring intersections to current standards . Place 10mm primer seal 8m wide, Carry out line marking with 3.5m Lanes. Chainages 0 to 1.5km widen and realign formation to 8mTotal cost of proposed project is $1,800,000
Old Bombala Road (Rural Road) - 111285-20NSW-RTR
Scotts Creek Bridge is no longer able to support the required traffic loadingTo replace the existing bridge with a new Concrete / steel bridge to be SM1600 CompliantTotal cost of proposed project is $450,000
Yorkshire Rd (Rural Rd) - 111314-20VIC-RTR
The existing guardrail on the bridge is non compliant with current safety regulations and requires replacement to improve the safety of the bridge.It is proposed to replace the barrier rail.
Godfrey St, Wedderburn - 111312-20VIC-RTR
There a few problems with the existing bridge. The bridge has degraded in condition, it is narrow and poses a safety risk when two cars are on the bridge, and the capacity of water flow under the bridge is limited and leads to localised flooding during storm events.It is proposed to replace the bridge with a new bridge.Total cost of proposed project is $419,116
Baileys Rd (Rural Rd) - 111313-20VIC-RTR
The existing bridge is in poor condition and requires replacement.It is proposed to construct a new bridge.
Squires Rd, Acheron - 111166-20VIC-RTR
Gravel wearing course is approaching end of useful lifeRenewal wearing wourse with 100mm compacted depth gravel or high PI (Plasticity Index) Class 4 FCR (Fine Crushed Rock) also renew formation including tabledrainsTotal cost of proposed project is $65,605
Topsy Road (rural road) - 111322-20QLD-RTR
Currently there is no gravel on this portion and severe scouring of road surface is occurring making this portion of the road unusable. Extra funding received in 2020/21 financial year has made the chainage different from those previously statedHeavy formation of the existing road surface, scarify, shape and re-compact road surface to 150mm depth. Add 100mm of type 2.2 gravel to road surface and shape and compact to a 3% gradient to each side of the crown on the road surface. This will provide access to the barge ramp for school bus and traditional owners.Total cost of proposed project is $177,334
Arnold Rd, Bridgewater - 111330-20VIC-RTR
The existing drainage pipe is damaged and has insufficient capacity which is undermining the existing road pavement.It is proposed to replace the drainage to protect the pavement by diverting water from the site.
Global Plaza, Helensvale - 111334-20QLD-RTR
There has been significant traffic volume increase along the road over the last 5 years. The project aims to reduce congestion in and around Global Plaza, improve customer access for local businesses adjacent to Global Plaza, improve the active travel network and improve pedestrian amenity; and improve the safety of all users of Global Plaza.Stage A works entail the provision of the right hand turn lane into the northern Bunnings entrance which will reduce the volume of right turn traffic into the shared Kmart/Bunnings entrance providing immediate improvement to traffic movements along Global Plaza.Total cost of proposed project is $618,000
Tillyroen Road, Kingsholme - 111335-20QLD-RTR
The northern area of the Gold Coast has experienced significant traffic growth. In less than 2 years the right turn movement from Upper Ormeau Rd onto Tillyroen Rd has increased by more than 70% in the AM peak. There have also been reported crashes at the site involving right turning vehicles. Vehicle volumes exceed 13,000 per day. Work will entail signalisation of the intersection to improve road safety and traffic efficiency.Installation of traffic signals at the intersection including road widening work to improve road safety and traffic efficiency.Total cost of proposed project is $3,059,800
