Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Campfire Road, Woolbrook - 112608-20NSW-RTR
Deteriorated pavement due to large amounts of heavy vehicle movements.Gravel overlay and in situ stabilisation of failed pavement at the Campfire Road and Church Street intersection along with a 14/7mm double/double seal. Works will include improved linemarking to improve safety at the Woolbrook Public School.
Connemara Road (Rural Road) - 111917-20QLD-RTR
The existing single lane steel bridge requires significant maintenance works to remain in service and to avoid the potential of having to place a load limit on the structure. The specialist resources required to undertake bridge works are not readily available within the region, hence the reason for replacing the bridge with a concrete culvert that can be delivered using local resources.Replacement of the existing bridge structure with concrete box culverts to provide a new, low maintenance asset that will provide for two lanes of traffic.Total cost of proposed project is $460,000
Yaraka - Retreat Road (Rural Road) - 111918-20QLD-RTR
The existing steel culverts have corroded beyond repair and need to be replaced to avoid the potential of having to place a load limit on this road. The site is currently under sidetrack conditions.Replacement of the existing culvert structure with concrete box culverts and associated scour protection works.Total cost of proposed project is $300,000
Kelleys Road (Rural Road) - 112577-20NSW-RTR
Gravel loss over time and drainage problems leading to rough and stony surface. Excessive maintenance costs required to meet minimum service level.Re-sheet with a 100 mm overlay of crushed material.
Forest Way, Niangala - 112637-20NSW-RTR
Forest Way is in unsealed road that suffers severe pavement deformations during wet weather periods due to large amounts of heavy vehicle movements.Works will involve a gravel overlay and in situ stabilisation of the existing pavement, followed by a 14/7mm double/double seal.Total cost of proposed project is $327,214
Yangan Drive, Beresfield - 112565-20NSW-RTR
Failure and deterioration of existing heavily bound pavement restricting use of CML and HML efficient vehicles for economic use of industrial subdivision.Replacement of existing heavily bound pavement with a deep lift asphalt of increased thickness.
Moses St, Mount Magnet - 112615-20WA-RTR
Deterioration of seal and potholing allowing water ingress and failure of pavement.Profiling and reinstatement of pavement and re-application of bituminous surface. Reinstatement of Linemarking.
Richardson St, Mount Magnet - 112606-20WA-RTR
Flushing of bituminous seal resulting in slippery surface during wet inclement weather.Flushed and worn sections will be resealed to increase traction, reinstatement of linemarking on completion of works
Mount Magnet Hill 50 Rd, Mount Magnet - 112613-20WA-RTR
Flushing of Seal and damage to Mount Magnet Hill 50 Rd caused by inadequate surface treatment at Intersections.Re-seal Intersections and flushed section of Mount Magnet Hill 50 Rd. Install intersection stubs at Haul Rd Intersection to preserve the asset and stop material being tracked onto the Mount Magnet Hill 50 Rd.Total cost of proposed project is $121,222
Oran Park Drive, Oran Park - 112643-20NSW-RTR
Asphalt road is cracking and failing.Require Heavy patching and Asphalt resheeting.Total cost of proposed project is $144,378
