Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

Graham Road, Morayfield - 052710-14QLD-RTR
Existing road pavement is showing major rutting, cracking and pavement failures and is a road safety concern.Rehabilitation of road pavement on the northern lanes, reconstruction of the drainage and footpath. The site area is approximately 730 metres long X 9 metres average width. this includes a missing 17 metre long section on the southern side near Wimbledon drive.Total cost of proposed project is $556,000
Cross Road - Fullarton Road Intersection
The project involves an upgrade to the Cross Road and Fullarton Road intersection in Adelaide, South Australia. Works include: - Additional through and turn lanes on Cross Road and Fullarton Road; - Indentation of bus stops on all approaches, with the exception of eastbound on Cross Road;  - Relocation of the bus stop on Cross Road eastbound; and - Installation of on road cycle lanes on all approaches.
Lyell Highway Upgrade - Queenstown to Strahan
Upgraded Lyell Highway from Queenstown to Strahan including stopping bays, passing lanes, alignment improvements including curve widening and improvements to delineation.
Gold Coast Light Rail - Stage 3
The Gold Coast Light Rail - Stage 3 project will extend the existing light rail system by approximately 6.7km to the south, from the Stage 1 terminus at Broadbeach South Station to Burleigh Heads. It will include eight new light rail stations, upgraded pedestrian and cycling facilities, and an upgraded bus and rail interchange at Burleigh Heads Station.
Northern Roads Package
Upgrades to the Northern Roads Package includes Birralee Road (Westbury to Frankford), Frankford Road and Batman Highway to enable the corridor to cater for increased heavy vehicle movement supporting business and industry. This first stage of works will include targeted shoulder widening, pavement rehabilitation and strengthening for approximately 10 kilometres along the Batman Highway to cater for increased heavy vehicle movement supporting business and industry. The second stage of works will continue to deliver upgrades along the Northern Roads, including road widening, pavement strengthening and localised curve improvements along Frankford and Birralee Roads.
Newnham Road - Wecker Road Intersection Upgrade, Mount Gravatt
This project will upgrade the Newnham Road and Wecker Road intersection in Mount Gravatt.
Brisbane to the Gold Coast Faster Rail Business Case
The project will investigate options to provide faster passenger rail services from Brisbane to the Gold Coast. The project will be undertaken in two parts. The first part will develop a detailed business case for the Kuraby to Beenleigh Rail Capacity Improvement Project. The second part will develop a corridor strategy that will identify existing constraints and determine future demand and operational requirements. The corridor strategy will include a planning and investment program that will identify potential projects, cost and staging options, including an extension from Varsity Lakes to the Gold Coast Airport.

Suburban Roads Upgrades - South Eastern Roads and Northern Roads
This investment involves the upgrade of selected suburban roads in Melbourne’s south-east and north.
Chelsea Road - Rickertt Road Intersection Upgrade, Ransome
This project will upgrade the intersection at Chelsea Road and Rickertt Road. The intersection is in need of road safety improvements and widening to cater for the increasing commuter congestion experienced in the area.
